ArtistLisa O'Connell is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, Lisa spent 10 years in the field of corporate graphics, designing packaging for consumer giants Gillette, Pillsbury, and Colgate-Palmolive. She has also done freelance work for such well-known current and former Boston area restaurants as Olives, East Coast Grill, Biba and Jasper's as well as graphic and interior design of Chez Henri and (the former) Providence restaurant. Lisa is also a fine artist and her decorative still life paintings are on permanent exhibition at Chez Henri. She has also exhibited at Flora restaurant in Arlington, MA. Many of her paintings are available reproduced on cards, mugs and magnets in her gift shop. Also visit the Chez Henri gift shop for additional cards, mugs and t-shirts. For the past 8 years Lisa has been training in martial arts and holds the position of 2nd degree black belt assistant instructor. She tries to keep a step ahead of her energetic children, Giuliana (age 13) and Henry (age 16). She also shares her home with three Labradors, Snowden Hill's Cooper, CGC, Snowden Hill's Charlie, CGC and Snowden Hill's Chocolate Chunk, CGC. Lisa enjoys the sport of purebred dogs and her Charlie (nicknamed "Tuna") is a pointed showdog who competes at AKC conformation events. |
